 The
Importance of Volunteering
You may ask, "how can you
effectively connect with so many
people?" The answer is simple,
it takes an army of volunteers
stepping up to the plate every
week to "do" greeting,
children's ministry, youth
education and much more. Every
person doing his or her part
allows Orange Avenue to share a
life changing message to those
seeking answers. When you think
about it, Orange Avenue happens
each week because of teams of
people who work together to make
the service a comfortable and
inviting experience. When you go back to the New Testament and study the beginning of the local church, you will discover the same paradigm. In Acts 6, we read how the Apostles who led the church selected a team of people to take care of specific ministry opportunities in the church... |
 That's the way a church has to function. The ministers lead the church by preaching, teaching and casting the vision. The members of the local church take on the
responsibility of day-to-day ministry. At Orange Avenue our minister staff depends on ministry teams to provide help in the greeting and seating people people who enter the building, taking care of children during services,
provide hospitality between services
and teaching in our education
programs.

Youth Education
 It is never to early to introduce Jesus into the life's of children. He is the center of all our early childhood educational programs. God's love is planted in lives of our preschoolers as we aim to expand the child's perception of God, of themselves, of others, and of the physical world in which God has place them. Your child is vitally important to us! We know that Jesus has a special place in His heart for every little person and so do we.
